Finders cope and guide scope

This page will handle the optics needed to find your way in the sky
I will expand the subjects with things I encounter along the way working with them.

Finderscope

This small scope is basically a simple spotting scope or monocular. It comes with the telescope And is very much needed to visually aim the telescope at any object. It has a simple crosshair but unfortunately no reticule which would have been very handy for a quick alignment with Polaris as that star is though very close to, not the exact astronomical north.

Guidance-scope

The guidance scope is very important as it keeps an eye on the sky and tells the computer where your subject is going and how to prevent that.
