The variants of auroras appearances

There is not just 'The Northern Lights'. Lady Aurora has many dresses and masters many dances. On this page I will show a few different appearances that I have seen in the past 12 years.

So first the colours between 80-400km:
Pink = nitrogen molecules
green = oxygen molecules
red = oxygen atoms
blue and purple = hydrogen and helium molecules.
Shapes and colours are subject to the amount of energy in the solar wind and the density of the atmosphere. (related to the altitude)
